Broadway Square Mall Tyler TX

Here is the first of three new articles over the next week, enjoy. The next post will be #200 for the blog and one worth checking out; in the meantime here is the only mall in Tyler TX.

Broadway Square Mall is a one level mall located in Tyler TX. The mall features JCPenney, Sears, and a two level Dillard's as anchors. There was an off and on rainstorm so many exterior photos came out blurry. Tyler TX has over 100,000 in the metro area and is located in the Northeast part of the state a few miles south of I-20.

The front of the mall has a few tenants that have outside only entrances.

The mall has a simple floor plan and was updated in the mid 2000's. This is some of the JCPenney corridor.

Welcome back to the 1990's; a F.Y.E. with all of the neon lighting intact. (Located in the JCPenney corridor).

Sears corridor.

Dillard's is two levels and appears to have been recently renovated inside.

There is also a small food court (not pictured) that was partially closed off to use for one of the retailers that has an outdoor only entrance.

  1. Reminds me of my mall. I've been working in retail for seven years and I just love reading this blog. I check it daily for updates

Looks like big changes are coming to this mall and a slimmer sized Sears store.

    1. Wow, you would think that they would use this as an opportunity to expand the mall corridor. Broadway Square IMO is undersized for a town as large as Tyler is. Thanks for sending this over.

  3. And to no surprise Sears announced the closing of their store here.

    1. Exactly, they were going to downsize the store and then quietly changed the plans to close the store. Maybe they will extend the mall corridor a little bit. Broadway Square Mall is a little small for that area.
