They will have some retail/ housing on the perimeter of the property, but the interior of the mall will be turned into various uses for the college. I have an update on tap that will be posted later this month to show the change since my May visit. If any part of the interior mall remains; it will be the food court, but not any retail. The interior of the JCPenney looks to have been cleared out for renovation into offices or classes.jehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08642257521152353045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8028753244746628643.post-59747550324706699392011-10-31T16:00:00.501-05:002011-10-31T16:00:00.501-05:00i've read conflicting reports about this mall,...i've read conflicting reports about this mall, but it looks this mall is closing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8028753244746628643.post-19261028414852156182011-06-08T00:43:33.241-05:002011-06-08T00:43:33.241-05:00Well it looks like the end is near for the mall. According to the article from the Austin Business Journal, tenants will remain until the end of their leases.
