Kmart does a good job of fitting everything that a larger store features into this slightly smaller location. jehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08642257521152353045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8028753244746628643.post-67479438913769191582015-01-27T19:58:50.332-06:002015-01-27T19:58:50.332-06:00Thanks for the photos of this Kmart. I am guessing that it was built in the late 1980s or very early 1990s given the "plain rectangle facade" of the building and the lack of some retro features inside. The red and white trim on the facade is interesting. I don't know if I like it. It draws attention to an otherwise boring looking building, but maybe there is a bit of a flea market look to it. I don't know, it's hard to say.

The store appears to be maintained, stocked, and organized better than the average Kmart. Maybe the smaller size helps with that. It's hard to say. Some retro features linger on like the blood pressure monitor and the books sign obviously. It may not be as appealing as Wal-Mart and Target to the average shopper, but this Kmart appears to offer a more competitive alternative than a lot of Kmarts. It's hard to say from the parking lot shot, but maybe the store did decent business during your visit. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
