This is a very good quality 1980's-early 1990's style plug entrance store. This location was painted just before closing since the building has a recent paint job. With the exception of the missing signs this is one of the best preserved sites that I have seen that have not been redeveloped.
The labelscar from the neon sign still shows here.
It got repainted after Rita in 2006. It was open for a few more months and when the, then new, Parkdale location was build and opened this location shut down. The Parkdale one eventually turned into a Kaplan College (now Brightwood College). This location is now a Burlington Coat Factory.
ReplyDeleteThe building has changed dramatically since my photos were taken. It was such an awesome retro building.
